What should I do now?

Okay so therez this guy that i like, a senior, im a sopre. And i told him i thought he was cute, and he said thanks :). He also said i was pretty. Then we carried on normal chit chat and i asked him if he was by any chance interested in me. He hasnt replied yet, but hes read the message (you can see if ppl read messages on myspace) What should i do now? I felt like he was interested in me, but i made the wrong move by asking him. Should i send another message telling him it was dumb of me to ask him? Should i ask him if we can start over? Should i apologize for putting him in a awkward situation and reure him its okay to reject me?? WHAT DO I DO?!? I rly like him...
