A box keeps coming up on my computer, how do I get rid of it ?

Every now and then a box when pop up o nto my screen saying 'COM Surrogate has stopped working' and i click 'close' or 'cancel' but it just keeps popping up. It will pop up about 5 times (more or less 5 times anyway) and then after clicking cancel for the (approximately) 5th time, it will stop and wont come back on again. But then the next time my laptop is on, it will all happen again. How do I get rid of it ?
