Parsley,thyme,sumac,basil reyhan,min?

Not only turkish, but generally in the arab - affected cuisine around the Mediterranean (Spanish, Greek, Egyptian, Moroco, Alger etc) Saffron grows in Greece and is used in tomato sauce, spanish paella, etc. Cinammon in famous sweets like baklava, also in rice pilaff and sauces that accompany red meat. in is used in fried meat, basil (=pesto), reyhan (=oregano) are found in italian recepies.
