Are Jon Foreman's solo eps considered country?

Regarding "Somebody's Baby": It's definitely not country. Listen to that same note (B note) the guitar keeps repeating throughout the entire song (not typically done in country), Also notice the poetic power of the lyrics, like Bob Dylan almost. It's like something from Eliza Gilkyson, with the feel of "Daughters" from John Mayer. Perhaps folk, but not country.
