Would it be a mistake to stock up bigtime on ammo right now?

im talkin like 4-5 thousand rounds of 7.62 and 2-3 K of 9MM as well...i am younger so that sounds like alot to me im sure i could make it last with just an SKS and a pistol in the near future.i found a killer deal on bulk ammo which is supposed to work very well so long as you dont use the 223 version for your AR-15 but i heard it works flawlessly in pistols and russian made rifles like mine (wolf ammunition with SKS)
