Airbags dash light is always lit on my 1998 Chrysler Voyager. What is the deployement risk?

Problems with dash lights began when I changed the battery. Ventilation and air conditioning pushon lights started blinking most of the time, A few months later the airbag light started remaining on for a while after engine start. Finally the airbag light is on full time. Is this an airbag deployement risk?
